Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Contract

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract, school-based role in a district near Springfield, Tennessee. You will work within a K-12 school environment providing assessment, individualized therapy, IEP collaboration, and supporting students’ communication development.

Pay Range:
$50 – 60/hour (depending on experience & credentials).
Requirements:

Master’s or higher degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Valid SLP license or eligibility in Tennessee; must hold the school services personnel license with a School Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement from the Tennessee Department of Education.

Ability to administer assessments, develop treatment plans, collaborate with teachers and support staff, document progress and work closely with the IEP team.

Experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred.

Required background check and compliance with all K-12 employment clearances.
State-Specific Requirements (Tennessee):

To hold the school services personnel license for SLP, you must meet one of the pathways: hold an advanced degree in SLP from an accredited institution and either submit required assessment scores or hold a current license from another state, or hold the American Speech?Language?Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
