Speech Language Pathologist in Creswell, OR
This position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving a specialized K-8 behavior school that supports students with severe behavioral challenges. The role requires providing speech and language services to students in a highly specialized setting, collaborating closely with educational and behavioral staff.
Location: Eugene, OR
Duration: Immediate start through June 12, 2026
Work Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (early release Wednesdays)
Work Setting: On-site only
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy and assessments to students with significant behavioral needs
- Collaborate with educators and therapists to support student transitions and educational goals
- Develop and implement tailored intervention plans addressing communication and behavioral challenges
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy services
- Participate in team meetings and provide consultation on communication strategies
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP-CCC preferred)
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with K-8 students
- Background or comfort in managing and supporting students with severe behavioral challenges
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams
