This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position provides leave coverage through June 12, 2026, supporting students within the Lane Education Service District in Eugene, OR. This role focuses on delivering speech-language services in a school setting, working onsite with students who have diverse needs, including moderate to severe disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students in a K-12 educational environment
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to evaluate and support student communication goals
- Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems as needed
- Maintain confidential records and communicate progress effectively
- Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and contribute clinical expertise
- Ensure compliance with district policies and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Oregon teaching license with Speech Impaired or Communication Disorder Endorsement and/or State of Oregon Speech-Language Pathology License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience with students who have moderate to severe disabilities
- Familiarity with low- and high-tech AAC systems preferred
- Valid Oregon Driver’s License
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional conduct
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification may be required
Location: Eugene, Oregon – on-site only
Contract Duration: ASAP through June 12, 2026
Schedule: Full-time, leave coverage position
