A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Ludlow, MA, serving high school students in a specialized educational setting. Position Details:
- Contract position for the 2026-2027 school year (approximate dates: 8/27/2026 – 6/22/2027)
- 32.5 hours per week
- Caseload includes supervising a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Specialized caseload focusing on ASD and other learning differences
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Valid state licensure meeting requirements for school-based SLP services
- Experience or strong interest in working with high school students with ASD or related needs
- Ability to supervise and collaborate with SLPA personnel effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and therapy tailored to students with complex needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop functional goals
- Monitor student progress and adapt interventions as needed
- Supervise and support the SLPA in clinical duties
- Document services and maintain compliance with state and district guidelines
