Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Spring, TX

Position: Full-time, direct hire
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to determine eligibility for special education and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver individual and group therapy focused on goals outlined in students’ IEPs, addressing diverse speech and language needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to implement communication strategies within the classroom and broader school environment.
- Participate in district-wide initiatives that foster positive school climate, cultural responsiveness, and social justice.
- Provide ongoing training and support to school staff on best practices for supporting students with speech and language disorders.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Texas state licensure as an SLP and Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Knowledge of current research, theories, and best practices in speech-language pathology.
- Experience working with diverse student populations and demonstrated cultural competence.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
This position includes a manageable elementary caseload with potential for assignment to one or more school sites, with mileage reimbursement available depending on location. Contracts may be renewed based on performance, providing stability and opportunities for professional growth.
