School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Spring, Texas

A K-12 school in Spring, TX is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide comprehensive speech and language services throughout the academic year. This contract role offers the opportunity to support a diverse student population in their communication development within a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students across grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience working as an SLP in a school setting, preferably with K-12 students
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders as they relate to school-aged children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage caseload and documentation in an organized manner
