A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to serve an elementary school campus in Huntsville, TX. This contract opportunity spans the current school year with a start date ASAP and an end date in May 2026. The role focuses on providing specialized speech and language services to a caseload of 60-80 students, including conducting evaluations, attending ARD meetings, and delivering therapy sessions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a comprehensive caseload at one elementary campus
- Perform speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services provided
Qualifications:
- Valid and active SLP license required
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Ability to conduct evaluations and lead ARD meetings confidently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to working onsite during designated hours (4 days/32 hours per week for SLP)
