Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting Pre-K students as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational setting. This onsite role offers a full-time schedule—Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week—from now through May 21, 2027. You’ll be instrumental in fostering early communication and language development, whether directly serving young learners or focusing on essential testing.
What We’re Seeking:
- Valid and active North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting supporting pediatric caseloads, especially Pre-K
- Strong skills in speech, articulation, and language assessments
- Comfortable working entirely onsite; remote or telepractice options are not available
- Flexible to serve in one of two key capacities: direct therapy for Pre-K or onsite testing-focused SLP (no teletherapy or “voco” responsibilities)
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language interventions for Pre-K students in alignment with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct detailed assessments to inform identification and planning for student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain timely, organized documentation and communication
- Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and compliance standards for school-based speech services
