Speech and Language Pathologist in Hope Mills, NC
A full-time opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services in a K-12 school setting located in Hope Mills, NC. This contract position spans the current school year, from as soon as possible through May 29, 2026, offering a structured weekly schedule of Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will hold an active North Carolina license and possess a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working with diverse caseloads across elementary, middle, and high school levels is essential. The role requires onsite presence and includes supervisory responsibilities for at least one Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students across K-12 grades.
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports adhering to school policies.
- Supervise and support the work of designated SLPA(s), ensuring quality service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Proven experience in school-based speech-language pathology and caseload management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and onsite within the school environment.
