A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available within a K-12 school setting in Fayetteville, NC. This contract role runs through the current school year, from as soon as possible until May 29, 2026, with a Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week. The caseload includes elementary, middle, and high school students, providing a diverse and rewarding work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals.
- Supervise at least one Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support service delivery.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
- Actively participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in North Carolina is required.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience working within a school environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and supervisory skills.
- Ability to work onsite full-time in Fayetteville, NC.
