Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a qualified and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve students in a K–12 school setting located in Spokane, Washington (ZIP 99208). This is an opportunity to be part of a collaborative and student-centered educational team, where your work will directly support student communication, language development, and academic access.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language assessments to determine student eligibility and service needs

Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and goals

Provide therapy services using evidence-based interventions in both pull-out and push-in models
-
Collaborate regularly with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress

Maintain thorough documentation, progress tracking, and compliance with state and federal guidelines

Participate actively in IEP meetings, professional learning communities, and school-based teams

Assist with the development and implementation of communication supports, including AAC, as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
-
Current licensure as an SLP in Washington State (DOH)

ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification or eligibility through OSPI
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows welcome to apply

Knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, and school-based service delivery

Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience working with diverse student populations, including those with autism, language-based learning disabilities, and social communication challenges

Familiarity with AAC devices and technology-based interventions

Comfort using electronic IEP systems and online therapy tools, if applicable
