About the Role:
Central Valley School District is seeking a highly motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to work with students in the beautiful Spokane Valley region. In this community-focused district, SLPs work closely with school teams to provide speech services that support both educational access and emotional well-being. You'll be part of a regional special education team that emphasizes early intervention, inclusion, and family partnership.
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate students using a variety of assessments including RTI-based approaches.

Write IEPs that reflect student needs and integrate seamlessly with academic goals.

Provide speech therapy services both directly and in collaboration with teachers.

Serve as an active member of school-based problem-solving and behavior support teams.

Communicate with parents regularly and offer home carryover support.

Assist in early childhood screenings and transition planning.
Qualifications:
Required:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
-
Washington ESA certificate or eligible to obtain.
-
CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship welcome.
-
Knowledge of inclusive practices and developmental language disorders.
Preferred:
-
Rural or small-district school experience.
-
Ability to work across multiple campuses.
-
Knowledge of phonological awareness and literacy linkages.
