School Speech and Language Pathologist | Fairport, New York
This opportunity is for a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to oversee a Clinical Fellowship (CF) in a K-12 school setting located in Fairport, NY. The position is a contract role extending from January 8, 2026, to June 5, 2026, with a part-time commitment of 3 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The supervising SLP will provide guidance and mentorship to an SLP-CF while ensuring compliance with New York State licensing and supervision requirements.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid New York State SLP license
- Clearance to supervise an SLP-CF under CCC guidelines
- Experience working in a K-12 school environment or with school-aged children
- Strong communication and mentorship skills
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the SLP Clinical Fellow, providing feedback and professional guidance
- Monitor the CF’s caseload and clinical documentation to ensure quality service delivery
- Facilitate professional development and help the CF meet licensure requirements
- Collaborate with school staff and administration as necessary to support student outcomes
