School Speech and Language Pathologist | Spencerport, New York
An exciting opportunity is available for three skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), including candidates who are Clinical Fellows, to provide essential services in a K-12 school setting. This contract position runs from September 2, 2025, through June 26, 2026, serving a diverse student population ranging from ages 3 to 22 across the district.
Located in the Rochester, NY area, this role involves working up to 7 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch during the standard 7.5-hour day. The caseload details will be shared upon hire, offering SLPs the chance to make a meaningful impact on students throughout the district.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech and language therapy services to students aged 3-22 in a K-12 setting
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
- Maintaining accurate records and complying with state and federal regulations
- Participating in district-wide initiatives to enhance communication outcomes
Qualifications:
- Valid NY state Speech-Language Pathology license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not mandatory for Clinical Fellows
- Experience working with diverse student populations across early childhood to young adult age ranges
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a school-based environment
