Position Highlights

Schedule: Full-time, approx. 37.5 hours/week

Setting: Onsite in public and charter schools

Grade Levels: PreK–12 (placements based on certification and experience)

Employment Type: W2 contract through ProCare Therapy
Responsibilities
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Adapt curriculum and instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Collaborate with general education staff, support staff, and families
-
Track and document student progress toward academic and behavioral goals

Ensure compliance with New York State DOE and federal IDEA regulations
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
-
Active New York teaching license with SPED endorsement
-
Previous school-based experience preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Commitment to inclusive, student-centered education
