Remote School-Based SLP Contractor South Dakota Telepractice
We are hiring a South Dakota-licensed Speech?Language Pathologist to serve school students remotely under a 1099 contract arrangement. This role offers the flexibility to conduct evaluations and deliver teletherapy tailored to student communication needs. Formal assessments, therapy sessions, and progress monitoring will all be virtual. You will partner with educators and families to promote carryover and student success. Bots access remote settings confidently and ethically will be key to thriving in this position.
Duties:

Conduct tele-evaluations assessing speech, language, pragmatic, and fluency domains.

Draft therapy objectives aligned with academic and social communication needs.

Lead interactive teletherapy focusing on student engagement and goal progress.

Analyze data to guide intervention modifications.

Liaise with instructional staff to embed therapy objectives.

Share caregiver coaching resources and progress strategies.

Prepare accurate documentation for sessions and billing purposes.

Join virtual team and IEP planning meetings.

Strictly follow South Dakota licensure and telehealth compliance policies.

· Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
· Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance
· Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)
