Speech and Language Pathologist in Spartanburg, SC
This K-12 school in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services throughout the current school year under a contract arrangement. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students across K-12 grade levels
 - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with students’ educational goals
 - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress
 - Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress notes
 - Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional recommendations
 - Utilize knowledge of common school settings and developmental milestones to adjust therapy approaches
 
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
 - Experience in school-based speech-language pathology services
 - Familiarity with speech-language intervention for children and adolescents
 - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and families
 - Ability to manage caseload and maintain organized records in compliance with school policies
 
Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina
