Pediatric School Speech Therapist - Sonoma, California
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide essential support to students across multiple sites in Sonoma and Marin counties, California. This role involves working within a K-12 educational setting during the school year on a contract basis.
Responsibilities include delivering direct speech-language services to students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 12th grade, managing a caseload of approximately 24-28 students. In addition to therapeutic support, the SLP will perform case management duties, ensuring each student's individualized education plan (IEP) is effectively implemented and progress is monitored.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certification and licensure as an SLP, including CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology services
- Knowledge of pediatric speech and language development
- Experience working with diverse student populations across Sonoma and Marin counties
- Strong organizational and case management skills
- Familiarity with K-12 education environments and related protocols
- Previous clinical fellowship year (CFY) experience preferred
