A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Somerton, AZ, supporting K-8 students within a dynamic school setting. This contract role runs from ASAP through May 27, 2026, with the possibility of extension into the new school year. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-8 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed records in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs)
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathology licensure
- Arizona Educator Certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Possession of an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card as required by state regulations
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff
