Speech-Language Pathologist in Cleveland, TN
This full-time contract position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving elementary school students in the Chattanooga area. The assignment spans from January 19, 2026, through May 21, 2026, with 35-37.5 hours per week dedicated to providing therapy, conducting evaluations, attending meetings, and supporting students’ communication development within one to three schools depending on caseload.
Qualified candidates must hold an active Tennessee SLP license, possess the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), and have an active Tennessee Department of Education certification. Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting is preferred. Assignments are fully on-site, with no remote or hybrid options available.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech and language therapy services tailored to individual student needs
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Collaborating with educational teams, parents, and support staff through meetings and documentation
- Managing caseloads efficiently across assigned schools, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and best practices
Desired Experience and Licenses:
- Active Tennessee SLP license
- Current SLP-CCC certification
- Tennessee Department of Education certification
- Experience with elementary school-aged children preferred (0–10+ years considered)
Location:
Chattanooga Area, Tennessee – assignments vary between 1 to 3 elementary school campuses
