Step into an engaging contract role dedicated to supporting K-8 learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This opportunity is located on-site near Douglasville, GA, serving students at either the elementary or middle school level (final site and caseload assignments are being finalized). You’ll be the only SLP at your assigned building, making a vital impact with your expertise and care.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (no SLPAs for this position)
  • Active and unrestricted Georgia state licensure plus a current GA PSC credential
  • Thorough understanding of assessments, therapy interventions, and IEP documentation for school-aged populations
  • Ability to complete background checks, fingerprints, and drug screening as needed
  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary and/or middle school students in compliance with IEP goals
  • Conduct evaluations, write reports, and maintain thorough service records
  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families
  • Provide guidance and support for classroom staff as needed
  • Stay current with professional best practices and district requirements
