This full-time, on-site contract opportunity begins July 27, 2026, and runs through May 28, 2027, offering the chance to make a real difference on a single campus while helping shape the communication skills of a diverse student body. You’ll work with caseloads that typically range from 45–55 students, with staffing still being finalized to match your strengths and preferences.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Georgia PSC certification (new requirement), valid professional license, and active credential with ASHA (CCC required; no SLPAs)
- State licensure for SLP in Georgia
- Experience in a school-based setting, particularly with middle and high school populations, preferred
- Ability to complete fingerprinting and pass a drug screening prior to start
- Commitment to providing direct, on-site services (remote/VOCO services not available for this position)
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide therapeutic services to a middle/high school caseload of 45–55 students
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to create and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Document progress, maintain compliance with legal requirements, and communicate effectively about student outcomes
- Participate in school meetings and professional development as needed
