This full-time, on-site contract opportunity offers you the chance to work with middle and high school students, supporting their communication development across one dedicated school location in the Dallas, GA area. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering student growth and academic success over the 2026-2027 school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Holds a current GA PSC (Georgia Professional Standards Commission) credential (new requirement)
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association)
- At least one year of experience in a school-based setting preferred
- SLPAs are not eligible for this position
- Successful completion of required fingerprinting and drug screening prior to start date
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of 45–55 middle and high school students
- Collaborate with educational teams, staff, and families to support student goals and IEP processes
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Support and monitor communication strategies within the classroom
