As a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), you’ll have an opportunity to help shape communication skills and create lasting academic impacts for a dynamic student population.
Your expertise will be focused on students across a middle and high school caseload, typically ranging between 45 to 55 individuals. The school district is finalizing assignments, ensuring an engaging and manageable work environment from the start of the school year through late spring.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, active professional SLP license
- GA PSC certification (new requirement)
- Valid and active ASHA CCC
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Ability to complete state-mandated fingerprints and drug screening promptly
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to assigned students
- Develop and implement IEPs, monitor progress, and participate in meetings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student needs
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to a positive school culture
