Speech Pathology - Dallas, GA
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services in a supportive school setting near Dallas, GA. As an SLP with your CCC, you’ll serve students at a single school site, making a meaningful impact throughout the academic year. This is a full-time, on-site role partnering with dedicated education professionals, offering you the chance to transform students’ communication skills and help them achieve academic success.
Position Highlights & Requirements:
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid GA PSC credential (new requirement) and professional state licensure
- Experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Must provide fingerprints and pass a drug screening prior to start
- Full-time, contract position for the 2026-2027 school year (August start through May end)
- Opportunity to work at a single campus (no itinerant travel needed)
- SLPA candidates are not eligible for this placement
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse student population
- Assess students’ communication abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to support each student's needs
- Write progress reports, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide direct intervention using evidence-based strategies and monitor student progress
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
You'll enjoy working in a collaborative and engaging educational setting, with a clear start and end date to align with the school calendar.
