An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated SLP in a supportive educational environment, providing crucial therapy, evaluation, and IEP services. This full-time position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule (37.5 hours weekly) during the 2026/2027 school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Delaware SLP licensure or certification required
- School-based SLP experience highly preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting evaluations and creating IEPs
- Proficient with progress monitoring and documentation in PowerSchool IEP or Data Service Center
- Commitment to on-site service—SLPAs and remote candidates are not being considered
- Reliable transportation to attend all scheduled sessions and meetings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy sessions to assigned student caseload (grades and caseload to be determined)
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collect and analyze data for progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate and timely therapy notes
- Collaborate and participate in team meetings and contribute to student support discussions
