A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support students in an early childhood setting in Metairie, LA. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy services aligned with students’ IEP goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and comply with all regulatory and school district requirements.
- Participate in meetings and professional development as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings.
- Ability to work with a diverse caseload across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school staff and families.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to provide SLP services in Louisiana.
This is an onsite contract position beginning as soon as possible with the potential for renewal. The contract duration aligns with the current school year.
