Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Slidell, Louisiana

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in New Orleans, LA, supporting students from PreK through 8th grade. This contract position will run from ASAP until May 20, 2026, requiring approximately 32.5 hours per week. The role involves managing a caseload of 48-50 students within a school that provides a dedicated appraisal team to complete assessments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Preparing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Delivering direct therapy services to students
- Managing cases and collaborating with educational teams
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid Louisiana SLP License
- Experience working in school settings with pediatric populations
- Certification in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery is a plus
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) desirable
