A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to cover a maternity leave position in Greenville, South Carolina. This contract role spans from March 23rd, 2026, through May 22nd, 2026, supporting elementary students across two schools: Crestview Elementary and Chandler Creek Elementary. The SLP will join schools that already have full-time SLPs on staff, managing a caseload of approximately 55 elementary-aged children.

Contract Duration: March 23rd, 2026 – May 22nd, 2026
Work Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: Approximately 55 elementary students
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) professional license
- South Carolina Educator Certificate (required for school-based practice)
- Experience working within school settings as an SLP, preferably with elementary-aged students
- Ability to collaborate with existing school staff and provide high-quality speech and language services
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each student's needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district guidelines for speech therapy services
Additional Notes:
- This is a maternity leave coverage position, providing a great opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic school district
- Supervision of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) is not required, as the district currently does not have capacity for SLPA supervision
