We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. This contract runs from August 12th, 2025, through May 22nd, 2026.
About the Role
As a school-based SLP, you will provide essential speech and language services primarily to high school students, with potential involvement at the middle school level. You will manage a caseload of approximately 40 students, focusing on their communication development and academic success. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans (IEPs) to address communication goals.
- Providing direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Collaborating effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of student evaluations, progress, and services.
Qualifications
- Valid Arkansas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Experience working with high school and/or middle school-aged populations is preferred.
- Strong diagnostic, intervention, and collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
