A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to cover a maternity leave starting immediately through late spring, likely until the end of May. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with higher functioning students on the autism spectrum in two separate locations within Marlton.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one speech therapy sessions, approximately 30 minutes per student, serving 6-7 students daily
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Write progress notes, plan therapy sessions, and develop goals and objectives for IEPs
- Travel between Marlton Middle School and DeMasi School, dividing work time equally between both sites
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably with autism spectrum disorder
- Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and scheduling
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
Location and Schedule:
This role is based in Marlton, with work hours from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The position requires travel between two rented spaces within local public schools.
