A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification is needed immediately to provide maternity leave coverage through late spring, approximately the end of May. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work with higher-functioning students on the autism spectrum within two school settings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one speech and language therapy sessions, typically lasting 30 minutes each, to 6-7 students daily.
- Divide time equally between two locations, working with students at both Marlton Middle School and DeMasi School.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Write progress notes, prepare for upcoming therapy sessions, and contribute to drafting goals and objectives for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student communication development.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
- Experience working with students on the autism spectrum, preferably higher-functioning individuals.
- Strong organizational skills to manage session planning, documentation, and reporting.
- Ability to work effectively between two school sites.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Location & Hours:
- Position based in Sicklerville, NJ, with responsibilities split between two schools in Marlton.
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
