Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
- Experience or strong interest in working within K-8 public school environments
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to reinforce student progress
- Maintain organized documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
