ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an immediate opening with a partner district in Sheridan, Wyoming. This opportunity focuses on delivering direct services to children ranging in age from birth to 5 years old, working in an early childhood school-based setting.

About the Role:
As the SLP in this role, you’ll work with a caseload of young learners who are just beginning their educational journeys. Early intervention is crucial at this stage, and your services will play a central role in supporting the development of communication, language, articulation, and social skills during a formative time in each child’s life.
You’ll be a core member of a multidisciplinary team that includes educators, occupational therapists, physical therapists, school psychologists, and family support staff. This collaborative model ensures that each child receives holistic care that promotes long-term success in both academic and social settings.
This is a fully on-site position, offering a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and the chance to build meaningful relationships with students, families, and team members.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized speech-language therapy to children ages 0–5 in a structured early childhood setting

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify developmental needs

Develop, implement, and monitor progress on IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and/or IFSPs (Individualized Family Service Plans)

Work closely with caregivers and families to ensure carryover of skills into the home environment

Maintain all required documentation and service logs in compliance with state and district regulations

Participate in team meetings, eligibility determination meetings, and IEP conferences

Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate communication strategies into the daily curriculum

Promote early communication milestones through evidence-based interventions tailored to individual student needs
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Active Wyoming SLP license (or ability to obtain prior to start date — prompt licensing process required)

ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; strong Clinical Fellows with pediatric or early childhood experience will be considered

Strong knowledge of early developmental milestones and early childhood best practices

Previous experience in a school, early intervention, or pediatric setting is strongly desired

Must be organized, collaborative, and comfortable working in a team-driven environment

Immediate availability for interview and onboarding is essential
