Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Shelby, North Carolina
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Shelby, NC. This contract role spans the current school year and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, including preschool, middle, and high school students. The position focuses entirely on IEP-based services without involvement in MTSS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 30 students
- Provide treatment and evaluations primarily for preschoolers, several middle schoolers, and a few high school students
- Serve students across three locations within a 10-minute driving radius
- Work regular school hours, with a full-time schedule between 37.5 and 40 hours weekly
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), preferably with experience in school settings, pediatrics, and healthcare
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or active CCC credentials
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple cases and locations
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary educational team
