A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Glenrock, WY. This contract position spans the current school year and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student communication development and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes
- Provide consultative services and recommendations to classroom staff to promote effective communication strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to ongoing student assessments
Desired Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working as an SLP in a K-12 school environment
- Strong knowledge of communication disorders typical in school-aged children and evidence-based intervention techniques
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and educators
- Relevant state licensure or eligibility to practice as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist
