Provide specialized Speech-Language Pathology services within a K-8 special education setting focused on behavior support. This contract position offers approximately 25 hours per week, beginning August 2026 through June 2027, based in Redding, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized speech and language therapy plans for students placed in behavior support programs
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to meet the communication needs of students with special education needs
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment that promotes student progress
  • Monitor and document student progress in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and assist with behavior support planning as required

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification and licensure appropriate for school settings
  • Experience working with K-8 students in special education, preferably within behavior support programs
  • Strong skills in speech and language assessment, therapy techniques, and progress monitoring
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
