Minimum Requirements to Work as an SLP in Minnesota:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Active Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) Speech-Language Pathologist license

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY)

Completion of a state-approved preparation program and background check
