An exciting opportunity is available for skilled Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support students across two schools in Fairhope, AL. This role involves delivering specialized speech therapy services to K-12 students within an established educational setting. The position is contract-based, offering a structured weekly schedule to engage with a diverse student population.

Location: Fairhope, Alabama
Work Setting: On-site in public and private schools (two schools assigned)
Contract Duration: March 2025 – May 29, 2026
Hours: 35 hours per week
Caseload: Working with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized speech and language assessments and therapy for K-12 students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with board and district standards

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist certification (CCC)
  • Registration with the state Board of Speech Examiners is required
  • Familiarity with school-based speech therapy practices and student age groups K-12
  • Experience working within public school districts; private school cluster experience is a plus
  • Ability to complete prescreen interviews to determine suitability for the role
