Provide speech-language support to middle school students in a modern, well-equipped educational setting located in Seminole, FL. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to work with an engaging caseload of approximately 60 students, including those in a self-contained/cluster program focused on emotional and behavioral disorders (EBD). The school environment features brand-new facilities and a comfortable office space, contributing to a positive and productive workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Support students with emotional and behavioral challenges within the self-contained program.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with state licensure requirements.
  • Participate in virtual collaboration opportunities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Florida SLP license; candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome to apply.
  • No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) considered for this role.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
  • Experience or interest in supporting middle school-aged children, particularly in behavioral settings, is preferred.

Contract Duration: Current School Year (CSY) – with potential extensions
Schedule: Full-time, onsite with options for virtual collaboration
