A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the current school year at a K-12 school in Boerne, TX. This contract position offers both part-time and full-time hours supporting students across elementary and high school settings. The role requires candidates to hold a valid professional license and specialize in providing speech and language services within schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
- Manage a caseload split between elementary and high school students depending on assigned hours
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all school district policies and state regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid professional Speech Language Pathology license
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload independently across multiple grade levels
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students and staff
Location:
- On-site position based in Boerne, TX at a K-12 school
Schedule:
- Part-time role: approximately 20 hours per week
- Full-time role: approximately 37.5 hours per week
- Duration: Contract through the end of the current school year (May 29, 2026)
