Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Prior experience working with children or adolescents in schools is highly valued
  • Proficient in administering and interpreting language, speech, and communication evaluations
  • Skilled at developing and implementing individualized treatment or education plans
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and collaboration abilities
  • Comfortable utilizing technology for virtual therapy (if applicable)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students for speech, language, and communication needs using standardized tools
  • Develop and document individualized educational plans in accordance with school guidelines
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions—remotely, hybrid, or on-site—to help students overcome communication barriers
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families for student progress and support
  • Monitor and report on students’ progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations for student success
  • Maintain accurate compliance and service records in line with district and state requirements
