A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide therapeutic services in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position offers an opportunity to deliver targeted speech-language support to students across the full range of grade levels within a public school environment.

Location: Sebring, FL
Job Type: Contract, School Year (CSY)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with educational goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate speech goals into classroom activities
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP license and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience working as an SLP in school settings, preferably K-12
  • Strong knowledge of school-based speech-language intervention techniques
  • Ability to effectively communicate with students, families, and educational staff
  • Commitment to supporting student communication development and academic success
