Speech Pathology - Seattle, WA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is open in a school setting located in Seattle, WA. This contract opportunity runs through June 17, 2026, with an anticipated start date in February to allow for overlap with the current SLP.
Location: Seattle, WA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Mondays start at 8:30 AM)
Work Format: On-site only
Caseload:
- Four days serving middle school students, approximately 725 minutes per month
- One day dedicated to homebound students (4 total: 2 elementary, 2 secondary), focusing on AAC devices, eye gaze technology, and other assistive communication methods
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP license and ESA certification through the state licensure board
- Experience working with secondary school students and homebound populations preferred
- Knowledge of AAC devices and assistive technology applications in speech therapy
- Ability to manage a varied caseload within a school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to middle school students and homebound learners
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication needs
- Utilize AAC and other assistive technology to enhance therapy effectiveness
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports as required
