Speech-Language Pathologist in Seattle, WA
This full-time Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) position supports students in a K-12 school setting in Seattle, WA. The role focuses on providing specialized intervention to students with developmental disabilities, helping enhance their classroom participation and communication skills. You will collaborate closely with the IEP team to set and achieve individualized goals, while conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students with developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families as part of the IEP team.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify and address communication needs.
- Support classroom participation by implementing targeted interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to student progress and therapy plans.
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington state SLP license.
- Eligible candidates include those holding Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- ESA Certification required.
- Experience working with school-aged children in speech and language therapy preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively engage with students and multidisciplinary teams.
Location & Schedule:
- Position requires onsite work within a Seattle area K-12 school.
- Full-time commitment with 37.5 hours per week.
- Contract role for the complete school year.
