About the Role
As a school-based DHH Teacher in Seattle, WA, you will:

Provide specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
-
Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's communication needs
-
Collaborate with general education teachers, interpreters, and related service providers
-
Support students across various communication modalities (ASL, oral, cued speech, etc.)
-
Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and progress monitoring
-
Foster an inclusive, language-rich learning environment
-
Adapt materials and instruction for accessibility and engagement
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field
-
Active or pending Washington DHH teaching certification
-
Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
-
Proficiency in ASL or other communication modalities a plus
-
Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
-
Ideal for candidates based in Oregon, Idaho, California, or surrounding states
