This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position offers the opportunity to support early childhood students, ages 4 to 5, in a school setting located in Scranton, PA. The assignment runs from March 1, 2026, through June 5, 2026, providing 35 hours per week working directly with approximately 130 evaluations focused on early childhood speech and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for early childhood students
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop individualized plans based on assessment outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of evaluation results and progress
- Provide therapeutic recommendations and support aligned with each child’s developmental needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working in school-based environments with young children (ages 4-5)
- Strong ability to manage a high caseload of evaluations effectively
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, families, and school staff
- Willingness to travel to Scranton, PA for onsite work
