Speech Therapist in Clarks Summit, PA
A full-time contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support early childhood evaluations in a school setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct around 130 speech and language evaluations for early childhood students aged 4 to 5 years.
- Collaborate with educational staff to assess and address speech and language development needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations and progress.
- Provide recommendations for individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Holds Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working as an SLP in school-based settings, particularly with early childhood populations.
- Strong knowledge in conducting speech and language evaluations and interpreting assessment results.
- Ability to manage a high caseload and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, parents, and school personnel.
