Speech Language Pathologist in Schuyler, NE
Providing speech-language therapy services for students in a school setting requires expertise in communication disorders and a strong commitment to supporting children’s educational success. This position offers the opportunity to work onsite in Columbus, NE, delivering clinical services to a diverse caseload from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments for students aged K-12
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and assessments
- Participating in meetings related to student progress, including IEP reviews and team discussions
- Managing a caseload of approximately 65-75 students, ensuring each receives tailored support
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license in good standing required
- Experience working in school settings preferred, with the ability to manage a large caseload effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with educators and families
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
- Commitment to maintaining compliance with all relevant school and state regulations
Location Details and Work Schedule:
This is an onsite role based in Columbus, NE, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. The contract is expected to begin as soon as possible and continue through May 22.
