Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced and licensed Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position within school districts in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment, providing vital services to students with communication needs.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following state and district qualifications:

Active Pennsylvania Speech Language Pathology License issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language and Hearing

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
-
Valid Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Certification for school-based practice (Educational Specialist – Speech and Language Impaired)
-
Completion of all required background checks and clearances, including PA Child Abuse History, Criminal Record Check, and FBI Fingerprinting
-
Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
-
Develop and implement individualized goals and therapy plans as part of each student’s IEP
-
Provide direct therapy services in individual and small group settings
-
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
-
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
-
Maintain accurate and timely records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
-
Support the integration of speech and language goals within the classroom environment
