Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time
Location: Schnecksville, PA
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week
Setting: Onsite
Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time position with a partnering school district in the Schnecksville, Pennsylvania area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team dedicated to supporting students' communication development and academic success.
Details:
- Location: Schnecksville, PA
- Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: K-12, SLP conducting testing and evaluations. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit based on experience, including age group.
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Pennsylvania SLP license issued by the State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language and Hearing
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or be in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Must hold or be eligible for an Educational Specialist Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education
- Background check and fingerprint clearance as required by PA public schools
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) in coordination with educational teams
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student goals
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress, and communications
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and ongoing student evaluations
