Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time – Schaumburg, IL
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, in-person position in Schaumburg, Illinois. In this role, you will support students’ communication development by providing direct therapy services, conducting assessments, and collaborating with educators and families. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students build the communication skills necessary for academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual or small group settings

Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and evaluations
-
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) based on student needs
-
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions

Support communication goals across classroom and school environments
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
-
Active Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsement

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
-
Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
