What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across elementary and secondary levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders
- Provide direct therapy services through individual and group sessions in school-based settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate communication goals into educational programming
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert insights to communication-based educational planning
- Provide consultation and training to school staff on communication strategies and classroom accommodations
- Monitor student progress through systematic data collection and adjust intervention approaches as needed
- Support students with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and assistive technology
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations
- Provide screening services and early intervention recommendations
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia Speech Language Pathology License (required - must be on hand)
- Active Georgia Professional Standards Commission (PSC) Certification (required - must be on hand)
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric communication disorders and evidence-based interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Understanding of special education laws and IEP processes
